Elon University is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as an Athletic Training Intern. This position will work with sport programs to provide athletic training services to student-athletes. The successful candidate will have NATA board certification and be eligible for North Carolina State Licensure. Responsibilities include coverage of practice and games of assigned sports, including travel, daily treatments and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, referral to health care professionals, and other administrative duties.
This is a 12 month annually renewable position with no benefits. Will work with a staff of nine athletic trainers to provide health care to approximately 400 student athletes in 17 sports. Demonstrate a commitment to NCAA rules compliance and adherence to NCAA regulations.
BS/BA required masters preferred.
Requires communications and organizational skills. Ability to make sound decisions independently.
