The Campus Activities & Leadership - Temporary Employee is a part-time position responsible for providing clerical, administrative, and project support to the Campus Activities & Leadership Office overseen by the Director of Campus Activities and Leadership (CA & L). This position maintains relevant knowledge of college and academic policies, processes and procedures, so as to ensure efficiency and implementation of key tasks associated with departmental flow.

We’re looking for candidates who have:
A Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Professional administrative experience preferred.
A positive and willing attitude to learn new technology. Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint), WebAdvisor, and scheduling tools preferred.
Self-discipline; adaptability; initiative; and strong administrative, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Key Job Duties

In this role, the Campus Activities & Leadership - Temporary Employee contributes to the mission by supporting the Campus Activities office that facilitates opportunities for students to engage in Christ-centered community that will foster their spiritual development and engagement on campus and around the world.
Scheduling of appropriate campus vendors, issuing vendor permits, adding them to the vendor calendar, ensuring table and table cloth are in lobby location, and prompt communication with vendor and campus security through student workers.
Support Campus Activities & Leadership’s management of the Anschutz and Leprino Front Desk by:
Helping with desk coverage by student workers
Managing desk organization
Routinely approving time cards
Communicating with student workers through a variety of channels
Interaction with scheduling platforms
Ensuring quality customer service
Process i9 documents for new student worker hires to assist in the onboarding process.
Provide organizational support to the Campus Activities Department Staff including the Director, Assistant Directors, Events & Conferencing Specialist, Administrative Assistant and the Graduate Assistants.
In collaboration with the marketing staff create, maintain and update communication channels within Campus Activities (CA) & the greater CCU Community, including but not limited to: stall chat, Cougar Den calendar and intentional crafting of meeting notes and summary emails.
Obtain, organize, and execute registration, email confirmations, communications and assessment practices associated with the major large-scale student and College-wide events and special projects housed within the Department of Campus Activities.
Collaborate with legal counsel to analyze and review contractual details pertaining to outside constituents and the CA department.
Compile, arrange, and complete the various components associated with processing of purchase orders, reimbursements, check requests, direct pays, invoices, credit card spending records and deposits as to ensure accurate tracking and fiscal management for the Campus Activities Department.
Perform a variety of administrative support duties such as running errands, printing, scanning, ensuring office equipment is maintained in good working condition, and procuring the necessary supplies for efficient office operation including game room supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Campus Activities and Leadership including providing support at campus and departmental meetings and special events; attendance at events is an essential function of the job.
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. You may be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends.
