Responsibilities: Assists with instruction and assessment of Medical Assistant students after completion of on-line curriculum to validate that student skills are at a proficient level and the student is prepared to move to clinical training. Instructor will make recommendation regarding students moving to clinical placement.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse license, LPN, Medical Assistant, or subject matter expert in phlebotomy, EKG, and/or health information technology including medical terminology.

Instruction of didactic and skills lab will include but are not limited to the scope of practice, patient communication, the environment of care, daily living activities, patient safety, and use of PPE. The instructor must be an RN.
The instructor will be responsible for preparing course materials, teaching assigned content in lecture and lab, evaluating student learning outcomes, and maintaining class records.
