General Statement of Duties: The Technical Assistant I is responsible for maintaining and preparing instrumentation for use in instructional and research laboratories. They assist with instrumentation repair and technical support for instructional activities, as well as collaborate with departmental colleagues to ensure that equipment and supplies are properly maintained.

This is a grade 11, non-exempt, part-time, benefited AFSCME position. Successful candidates will have the option to choose the following part-time hours:
18.75 hours/ week, bi-weekly salary is $712.97 (annual salary is $18,537.22).
28 hours/ week, bi-weekly salary is $1,064.70 (annual salary is $27,682.20).
Work days are Monday - Friday, hours to be determined with supervisor based on course schedule needs. Days off are Saturday and Sunday.
