The Assistant Coach, Club Womenâ™s Golf will work with the Head Coach, Club Golf, to lead Brownâ™s highly competitive womenâ™s club golf program. This included presence at practices and competition, assisting with oversight for safety and risk management of the team, exposure to rules and etiquette of the sport, instruction in skills and technique of sport, and assistance in appropriate conditioning of athletes to participate in their sport.
All division employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to NCAA rules and regulations; the duties of the position are to be performed in compliance with all NCAA, Ivy League Governing Body rules and regulations; and any rules violations on behalf of themselves or any knowledge of violations within the division are to be reported to the appropriate parties. Employees in club coaching positions are required to maintain current AED/CPR and First Aid certification (certification is available at no cost through the Division).Â
High School Diploma/GED.
Some prior golf coaching experience, preferred.
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
Must be certified in CPR, AED and First Aid.
The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal and DMV background check satisfactory to Brown University prior to commencing employment.
