Graland Country Day School is seeking a part-time accounts payable specialist to work approximately 30 hours per week. Work schedule is flexible including the possibility of some work being done remotely.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute full cycle A/P – Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, verify approvals, enter invoices into A/P system, and process payments to vendors
Process employee expense reports and timesheets for auxiliary staff
Help reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
Review, monitor and distribute monthly general ledger reports to department managers to facilitate budget
Prepare month end cost allocations and account reconciliations
Prepare bank deposits and make bank deposits as needed
Enter annual budget into accounting system
Assist with audit and tax schedule preparations
Oversees 1099 maintenance and process 1099’s at the end of the calendar year
General duties as assigned
Education or Formal Training - Associates or undergraduate degree in business or accounting
Experience – 3 years general accounting
Desired skills – Automated accounting systems, NetSuite experience a plus, intermediate Microsoft Office and Google Suite user experience desired, detail oriented, strong financial analysis, exhibit above average time management, organizational and troubleshooting skills, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team, able to adapt to changing priorities
Working Environment/Physical Activities - Office and school environment; able to access buildings and rooms on school campus, typing, copying, printing, filing, able to lift up to 20 lbs (small electronics and boxes).
