Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Big Ten Diversity Intern for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: • Provides support in all areas of the Office of Leadership Development and Strategic Partnerships including career development and employer relations; community service diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and Varsity R Letterwinners Association. • Serves as primary liaison to the Big Ten Advisory Commission representative. Coordinate senior interviews with Advisory Commission representative as well as annual Advisory Commission survey of student-athletes.
•Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. •Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
•Strong interest in development of student-athletes and intercollegiate athletics. •Must be friendly, personable, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
