PART-TIME SPEECH & LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST Eagle Hill School, a school dedicated to meeting the needs of children who learn differently, seeks a talented speech and language pathologist to join its faculty for the 2021-2022 school year. This role is part-time for 6-12 hours per week (depending on enrollment) to work with our students aged 5-7 in our Foundations Program.
The ideal candidate for this position should:
Have a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or similar area of study.
Have or will have an ASHA certification as a CCC-SLP.
Have expertise in the areas of early childhood language development and disorders.
Have knowledge of learning disabilities and the ability to individualize within a classroom setting.
Be willing to participate in teacher meetings to provide information on individual students, assess student progress and set goals with the child’s entire educational team.
Be willing to participate in CSE and PPT meetings as requested and implement student IEP goals, when appropriate.
