JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Research Assistant will work in the Department of Pharmacology, Addiction Science, and Toxicology. The position will involve general laboratory oversight and, under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs and handles zebrafish.
Conducts biochemistry, physiology, and molecular biology experiments.
Generates, analyze data, and discuss with the PIs. Maintains and orders supplies.
Participates in routine laboratory operation: reagent preparation, equipment maintenance, clean and organize lab, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
