Since 1918, The Church Farm School has been driven by its extraordinary mission to prepare a diverse group of boys with academic ability and good character to lead productive and fulfilling lives by making a college preparatory education financially accessible. CFS is seeking a mature, energetic and organized individual to lead our cross country program for the fall season of the 2021-2022 school year. We are looking for a positive team player with demonstrated prior experience working with and mentoring young people; a person who is committed to a leadership role within the CFS community. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics.
The Cross Country Coach Must:
Plan, organize, and direct the CFS cross country program
Demonstrate a willingness to support the school’s mission, entire program and core values (respect, responsibility, integrity and brotherhood) through personal example, actions and attitude
Assure program compliance with the CFS student/parent handbook, policies of the Bicentennial Athletic League (BAL) and rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA)
Cultivate and consistently maintain positive relationships with students, families and members of the CFS community
Support the CFS athletic program by overseeing all coaches and athletes in the cross country program
Promote self-discipline and responsible decision-making among the students
In accordance with PA Dept Human Services guidelines, all prospective employees must be able to provide the following documents upon employment at Church Farm School. If a prospective employee does not have the necessary documents, the prospective employee will be required to obtain the necessary documents to move ahead with employment. Out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed by Church Farm School.
