We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist complex animal research to include: conducting experiments according to standard protocols and procedures, administration of medication and treatments, processing blood samples, maintaining detailed experimental records, data management, working with trainees on experimental protocols, and maintaining laboratory supplies. This position is primarily for overnight monitoring of animal experiments.
Bachelor's Degree with major courses in field of research / No Experience; OR Associate's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience
Proficient knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
Ability to learn new programs
Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize work demands and troubleshoot
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Meticulous detail to data and study procedures
Ability to work independently or in a team in a multi-task environment
Ability to perform work in a laboratory setting, with potential risk of exposure to infectious agents, chemicals, dry ice, and liquid nitrogen
Basic wet lab experience ELISAs, Luminex, RT-PCR
Experience with large and/or small animal protocols
