The Admission Associate is responsible for supporting the enrollment process for Marburn’s day program and summer school. The Admission Associate is responsible for assisting the Director of Admission in tackling the admission funnel including communication with prospective parents, scheduling screeners and visits, creating files, managing the database, reviewing test results and assessments. The Admission Associate will attend the admission meeting and support re-enrollment efforts. This position reports directly to the Director of Admission.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in database management. Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and experience in a school environment and an understanding of IEPs, ETRs, and 504 plans.

Support the school and its leadership
Serve on school-wide and standing committees as needed
As directed, oversee administrative duties associated with the admission process
Support Director of Admission with first contact calls and web-inquiries, and manage pre-vetting process
Schedule screener calls for the Director of Admission
Create files for prospective students, reach out to families to collect all relevant data for review
Prepare and review student information, assessment and testing data as needed
Schedule visits, interviews and shadow days with prospective families
Schedule school visits with teachers and academic division
In conjunction with Outreach Coordinator, serve as primary contact for summer school enrollment
Manage admission database, create reports, dashboards, and mailing lists
Utilize technology to the fullest to help pre-qualify family inquiries and manage an efficient process
Help plan and execute the Admission Information Sessions and other recruitment events
Support the Director of Family Experience as needed
Support the Institutional Advancement team as needed

A bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in admission or related field. Experience with an educational institution (k-12, higher ed) and learning disabilities field.
Successfully pass a background check (FBI, BCI, Sex Offender)
Ability to stand, traverse for extended periods of time two plus hours or more
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time of two plus hours
Ability to visually detect, observe and recognize
Verbally and audibly communicate and exchange information with ability to position oneself to do so
Ability to move, lift and position:
Regularly up to 10lbs
Frequently up to 11lbs-30lbs
Occasionally over 30lbs
Rarely up to 50lbs with assistance as required
To be determined not to exceed 24 hours per week on any regular basis
Occasionally, the faculty member will be required to participate in certain activities such as field trips, afternoon or evening events, and overnight or weekend programs that will occur outside of the regular daily hours mentioned above (e.g., Graduation, Voyageurs Trips, Middle Division DC Trip, Curriculum Night, Parent Conferences, Graduation, Discovery Nights, Dances, etc.).
