We offer scanning services for the scoring of tests, surveys and evaluation instruments.
The Database Coordinator (DC) position in Indiana University Bloomington Evaluation Services and Testing (BEST) assumes primary responsibility for several key functional areas. The DC works independently under general guidance and academic term-related task deadlines for evaluation services projects; acts as project manager within the evaluation system and associated databases to launch and execute complex data quality and control processes for the Online Course Questionnaire (OCQ) and the Course Questionnaire Data Manager (CQDM) programs; partners with the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Information Technology Office (OVPUE-IT) professionals and the evaluation system software vendor to conduct more complex troubleshooting of systems that support launching course questions, program evaluations and surveys; builds and conducts quality control checks on custom and standard evaluation and reports; coordinates and initiates contact with academic units to finalize their evaluation design and data report requests; establishes OCQ data manager training and sets evaluation data preparation deadlines for school-level and academic unit OCQ data managers, analysts and supervisors; edits and manages faculty and academic unit training content for OCQ and related systems; works with BEST administration to maintain, edit and improve evaluation and report project and processes task management; and collaborates with BEST staff to assist with campus-wide outreach initiatives for BEST services.
Associate's degree and two years of database software or related experience.

Degree in information technology related field. Statistical analysis experience.
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This is a 10-month appointment with the months of June and July off. Standard hours for this position is 30 hours/week.
