Columbia University School of Nursing is looking to hire two Columbia University students as short-term casuals to provide research support for several federally-funded projects in the areas of primary care, health care workforce, and racial and ethnic health disparities in chronic diseases. The incumbents will work with a team of researchers at Columbia Nursing.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
assisting with data collection, data management and analysis,
conducting literature reviews,
assisting with grant and manuscript preparation, and
performing other duties as assigned.
This position is grant funded and continued employment will be contingent upon the grant.
Bachelor's diploma or equivalent;
Strong analytical and writing skills are required;
Knowledge of/experience working in biostatistics is required;
Experience with research projects;
Strong attention to detail;
Excellent organizational skills; and
Experience with data software such as STATA or SAS.
A master's degree is highly preferred.
A biostatistics background or experience with data collection is highly preferred.
