The Drury University Department of Athletics invites applications in a national search for two Athletics Department Graduate Assistants – one internal affairs focused and one external affairs focused. These positions are responsible for assisting the Athletics Department in all activities related to the intercollegiate athletics program while doing so in an environment that: 1) creates an atmosphere where graduation is facilitated through participation in intercollegiate athletics, 2) teaches student-athletes to be productive citizens who contribute to society for life, and 3) facilitates winning championships. More specifically, the external affairs graduate assistant will support the athletics department in the areas of ticket sales, fundraising, sponsorships, marketing and communications. The internal affairs graduate assistant will support the athletics department with game operations, internal and external event operations and Barber Fitness Center operations. The individual must have an athletics philosophy that values the educational and personal well-being of student-athletes while emphasizing the university and athletics department mission, vision, core values and culture.

This is a temporary, part-time position (29-hours/week, 24 months) without benefits. Compensation includes 100% tuition remission for up to six hours per semester and summer, stipend (Fall - $3,296, Spring - $3,568, summer - $2,060), campus housing and meal plan. Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Admission into a Drury University graduate program
