(Part-time beginning August 2021) Responsibilities Head-Royce School is seeking a culturally responsive, flexible, and enthusiastic educator to join our 9th grade English and History Teams. We seek teachers who are not only excited by the content they teach, but who are also actively engaged in evolving their classroom pedagogy to reflect the needs of 21st Century learners. We want teachers who are excited to join our community of learners and collaborate with us on meeting our Strategic Plan Goals and living our mission. Head-Royce teachers also serve as advisors and club sponsors and participate in the life of the community. We seek applicants who have a strong academic background, experience in anti-racist pedagogy, an awareness of ecological literacy, an understanding of adolescents, and a genuine fondness for working with students at this specific age level.
