Position Summary Columbia World Projects ("CWP") is an initiative intended to better connect Columbia University with the world at large where laws and policies are made, actions taken, and norms and attitudes are shaped. CWP will facilitate the application of academic work in the context of a broader, global discussion to address fundamental challenges in our home city, around the nation, and across the globe. Columbia World Projects seeks to hire a Short Term Casual - Program Assistant to support the day-to-day activities of the initiative. Reporting to the Director for Project Development, the Program Assistant will provide, project, administrative, and research support to the CWP Project Development team which works closely with Columbia and external faculty and senior officials at partner institutions to design and refine projects that have been generated through the CWP Forum process. The position will begin summer 2021 and will last through the end of the summer, with the potential for extension. Responsibilities
