Gwynedd Friends School seeks a personable, well-organized, and collaborative individual with strong communication skills for the position of Director of Admissions and Development, beginning in June 2021. Gwynedd Friends School is a non-profit Quaker School serving children ages 2 through 6. Rooted in Quaker values, GFS unites play with academics in an environment that inspires respect, reflection, and confidence in young children. The School serves families in several surrounding school districts, including North Penn, Wissahickon, Upper Dublin, and Central Bucks.

Essential Duties
Development
Prepare Annual Development Plan with Development Committee.
Run an active social media presence, with regular postings to Facebook and Instagram.
Develop and execute implementation of all fundraising initiatives and programs including, but not limited to:
o Annual Fund
o Capital Campaigns
o Grant Writing (foundations, Friends trust funds, corporation and other organizations
o Planned Giving
Work with HOS in identifying and building relations with potential donors and prospects for major gifts.
Oversee School’s participation in the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.
Maintain constituency lists, files and giving records
Attend weekly meetings with HOS and Administration Team
Work with the Home & School Committee on fundraising events, as needed.
Admissions
Lead families through the GFS Admissions process. Keep statistics/records on all admissions/enrollment activities.
Manage FACTS Student Information System
Prepare/Oversee admission materials for prospective families and marketing efforts, including management of School’s website.
Set Admissions Calendar
Plan Open Houses and related events
Visit classrooms to stay informed about what is happening
Serve on Home & School Committee
Organize and conduct Admission tours, interviews, classroom playdates/classroom visits for prospective families
Coordinate Buddy Family program.
Host new parent orientation.
Attend GFS Board & Finance Committee meetings when necessary.
Work with the Assistant Head of School to manage enrollment for summer camp.
