Reporting to the Director of Athletics Communications, the Graduate Assistant is responsible for supporting the Director and department in promotion and publicity of the 24 intercollegiate athletics teams. The position will be responsible for assisting in communication efforts for the department, including responsibility for promotion and coverage of selected athletic contests, including ensuring accurate statistical records are compiled and assisting with day-to-day office needs. May also have responsibility for securing corporate sponsorship, developing and implementing creative solutions for student and community promotions. Other duties may be assigned by the Director.

  • Bachelor’s degree and successful coaching, playing, and/or teaching experience is required. Experience at the intercollegiate level is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a sports information or collegiate athletic marketing setting is strongly
  • Regular and predictable attendance is expected.
