Assistant Professor, Radiology (night), Memphis - 21000000GW Description The University of Tennessee is seeking a radiologist for night shift coverage for the 2 nd shift at Regional One Medical Center. Regional One Medical Center is a level I trauma center. This is a part-time, non-tenure, faculty position. The ideal candidate will be a strong general radiologist and may have a fellowship in either body imaging or neuroradiology. Case-mix is approximately 50% plain films, with the rest being made up of CT, US, and MRI. Compensation is consistent and comparable to other services in the region. This position will perform a variety of radiology interpretations, including trauma, post-surgical, and medical CT with a volume of about 60 cases per night. The candidate will also interpret trauma and ICU plain films. Occasional ultrasound and emergency MRI are performed. Light interventional, such as CT-guided drainage is a plus. Vascular interventional and MQSA are not required. The schedule requires one week on, combined with two weeks off, and it is the NIGHT shift. The position will teach medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) Board certification or Board eligibility required Completion of an accredited residency required and sub certifications/training highly preferred Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee Current certification DEA number Eligible for malpractice insurance Relocation is not required, however, the work is on-site.
