POSITION SUMMARY: Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with on-field instruction, organization of practice and competition, recruiting potential student-athletes, scouting of opponents, helping with video breakdown, camps and clinics operations, and managing social media accounts. Assistant should be familiar and work to remain compliant with college, SCIAC, and NCAA rules and regulations. Must have the ability to travel and work extended hours and most weekends during the season. The department is particularly interested in candidates who have experience working with students from diverse backgrounds. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience required; previous playing or coaching experience is required. Capacity to positively interact with and support a culturally, ethnically, economically, and socially diverse population of students, faculty and staff. REQUIRED HOURS: Must be able to work extensive weekend and evening hours during the season. Travel will be required. |
