Part-time Math Learning Coach (.25 FT)

Reports to: Coordinator of Learning Support 

Job Summary 

To support teachers and students from all divisions in areas of mathematics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with students 1:1 or in small groups outside of the regular classroom in order to strengthen math skills
• Work with small intervention groups within the regular classroom in order to strengthen mathematical skills when schedule allows
• Work with the Coordinator of Learning Support and teachers to determine student needs through assessments and evaluations
• Meet with teachers on an individual basis (as needed) during regularly scheduled times
• Provide feedback and progress to teachers and Coordinator of Learning Support
• Support the mission of the school through teaching and as a participating member of the faculty

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Support professional growth of teachers in areas of mathematics
• Coach teachers on differentiation methods to use within the regular classroom setting
• Support teachers in the creation of materials as needed and as time allows
• Attend math department, division, all school meetings as needed and as time allows
