Within the Department of Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Exposure, Epidemiology and Risk Program seeks to investigate and mitigate heath risks associated with environmental and occupational hazards and provide scientific evidence for sound environmental and health policies. The Research Assistant (RA) will serve as a liasion between the Geographic and Contextual Measures Core (GCMC) and the Community Engagement Core (CEC) of the Harvard Chan NIEHS Center. Specifically, the RA will work on a project to quantify the impacts of environmental racism in the Boston area, and will work to develop content for dissemination on this and related topics. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
PLEASE NOTE: This is a part-time, benefits-eligible position with a 17.5 hour work week. PLEASE NOTE: The primary work location for this position is Boston, Massachusetts. Until our return to campus, which is still to-be-determined, this interview process and position will be conducted virtually – including virtual interviews, remote onboarding, and remote work. The remote nature of this position is only temporary. Local, on-campus work will be required as a condition of continued employment once the School and this role return to an operational status that supports it.
