Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for a part-time Information Commons worker at our Boone Campus. This part-time (Gateway student only) position will provide high-quality customer service, answering questions and addressing the needs of individuals who visit our Boone County Campus.

Providing excellent customer service and adhering to FERPA policy, while sharing accurate information to students, staff, faculty, and community.
Connecting students and the community to appropriate departments, programs, and resources, either in person or by phone
Documenting Services provided to Gateway Community by correctly completing IC tickets.
Signing up students to take the Compass Placement Test by following written procedures.
Comfortable use of computer and knowledge of Microsoft Office 2013.
Copying, putting packets together, other duties as assigned.
Great customer service skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Prior work experience in a customer service environment.
