The Workforce Solutions Department of Jefferson Community and Technical College has openings for Adjunct CDL Instructors.
The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Assisting with development and delivery of CDL training to students from a variety of backgrounds
Provides input on recruitment and marketing efforts
Escorts student to Kentucky State Police testing facility and prepares them for successful completion of the Class A CDL driving test
Manage CDL operational needs and supplies for the program, working closely with the Workforce Solution Director and Workforce Solutions CDL Program Manager

CDL A License plus 3 years related operating experience
Must hold current Kentucky Commercial Driver's License.
Must have over-the-road CDL driving experience and demonstrated competencies in commercial transportation.
Ability to work effectively on a team
Excellent oral communication and people skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficient computer skills
Preference will be given to applicants with experience as a classroom, road and range Class A CDL instructor.
