Building Controls Technology Adjunct Pool

Owensboro Community and Technical College invites applications for part-time faculty as an Instructor in the Manufacturing and Skilled Trades Department. This position teaches in the Building Controls Technician Track within Air Conditioning Technology.

This position is a temporary position used to fill classroom vacancies as needed.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Must have 3 years' experience in related field.
• Associate's degree in Air Conditioning Technology or related field OR equivalent experience such as Journeymen License OR industry certifications or equivalent industry experience in building controls.
• Knowledge in Refrigeration Fundamentals, HVAC Electricity, Computer, Networking, Electrical Motor Controls, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Building Controls.
• Basic computer skills.
• College teaching experience is preferred.

Screening Requirements:  Criminal Background Check 

Daytime or Evening class availability.  Online and/or hybrid positions may be available for Fall 2021. There may be flexibility with other work schedules.
