| Security Officer Westtown School is seeking an experienced part-time Security Officer for the following shift, alternating Sundays from 6:00am- 2:00pm, additional shifts may be available. The part-time Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the Westtown School community, buildings and 600-acre campus. Security Officers are considered essential personnel and, as such, are expected to be available during inclement weather and other school-closing situations. Westtown School is an independent, co-educational, Quaker pre-K to 12, college preparatory day and boarding school located in suburban West Chester, PA, approximately 30 miles from Philadelphia. Situated on a beautiful 600-acre campus, Westtown offers state-of-the-art facilities where our committed faculty and staff inspire and prepare our students to be stewards and leaders of a better world. Qualifications: - Prior security or related experience preferred
- High school diploma or some college required
- CPR/AED Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to tolerate weather variances and exposure to the elements.
- Able to work independently without close supervision.
- Calm under pressure.
- Desire to contribute to Westtown’s mission and values
- Required clearances including PA Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Certification and FBI fingerprints
