The Part-time Customer Service Representative performs accurate and efficient financial transactions, provides quality customer service and adheres to policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines by performing the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Greets customers, provides excellent customer service
  • Processes customer transactions within established guidelines
  • Maintains and balances cash drawer
  • Cross sells products and services when appropriate. Identifies referral opportunities and makes relevant referrals
  • Processes mail communications
  • Answers multi-line phone system
  • Balances and maintains ATM’s
  • Complies with regulatory rules and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements for the qualified candidate includes the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of teller experience; or 6-12 months customer services and/or cash handling experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Maintain a high degree of concentration and accuracy while multi-tasking
  • Ability to work both independently without direct supervision as well as with a team; minimal daily supervision
  • Must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet pressing deadlines
  • Ability to work mornings, afternoons and rotating Saturday mornings

 

About Keystone Savings Bank
In the early 1900’s, the town of Keystone, Iowa had two banks, German State Bank and Farmers Savings Bank. When the depression hit, both banks failed and the State Banking Department was placed in charge in 1932. To meet the needs of the community, Keystone Savings Bank officially opened for business on April 27, 1935. Today, Keystone Savings Bank continues to be a strong community bank in Iowa and is owned by local shareholders primarily from the Benton County area. Through the years, the bank has grown and added branches in Marengo (1995), Center Point (2004), Pleasant Hill (2007) and Victor (2018).
