The Department of Surgery at The University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine invites applications for an Instructor/Assistant Professor of General Surgery. This is a full-time clinical appointment with an associated part-time, non-tenure track academic appointment position commensurate with experience and level of academic interest. Successful applicants will be responsible for the didactic education and surgical training of residents, medical students and fellows. Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.
Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in General Surgery, fellowship trained in minimally invasive surgery with eligibility for certification by SAGES and/or ASMBS. Salary, an exceptional benefit package, and academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
