This is a full time position.Continuation of this position is dependent upon continued funding

and satisfactory work performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Extension Program Assistant III is responsible to the County Extension Director. This position will support county work to:

• Work cooperatively with all county Extension staff for the implementation and teaching of the program with curriculum development and training activities.
• Conduct and teach programs individually and in group settings.
• Assist Extension agents in planning monthly programs and provide leadership to County clientele.

Classroom decisions pertaining to minor student disciplinary action and monthly program development.

• Assist with program member enrollment and reports, as well as prepare monthly program materials.
• Provides information/documentation for evaluation of impact regarding programs represented by Extension.
• Assists staff in providing information to the public regarding specific questions or problems pertaining to their situation.
• Recruits for future program participants.
• Other appropriate duties related to Agricultural & Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Development programming as needed.
• Be responsible for 40 hours of work a week.
