| Watkinson School, offering inventive learning to Hartford and surrounding communities since 1881, seeks an energetic, reliable and motivated individual to join our part-time cleaning crew. The right individual should be able to work Monday through Friday with some possible weekend work. The primary responsibilities of the position include mopping, cleaning, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors as well as cleaning of office and classroom furniture and other surfaces. Additionally, the person in this position will gather and empty all trash bins and make sure all the cleaning products in the supply room are fully stocked. This individual will be careful and detail-oriented when mixing and preparing cleaning solutions for desktops, boards, etc. Candidate should have some experience stripping and waxing floors. Ability to operate machinery that steam cleans or shampoos carpets is a plus. Additional responsibilities include touch up painting, when required, and the setup and breakdown of school-wide events held on campus throughout the year.
