Dietitian Clinical Specialist Our Life with Cancer Department at Inova Loudoun Hospital is currently seeking a new Dietitian Clinical Specialist to join their dynamic team! Clinical Practice and Nutrition Case Management: Provides safe therapeutic nutritional care in comprehensive and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum. Teamwork: Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others. Has respect for and understanding for other clinical disciplines. Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes. Nutrition Education: Acts as a resource to physicians, nurses, and other allied professional health care team members to provide patients with optimum nutritional care. Provides nutrition education to patients, family, and hospital staff. Quality/Best Practice: Develops and implements standards, guidelines, and best practice for care delivery. Incorporates data and information to continuously improve care and practice to enhance outcomes. Professional Development: Ensures improvements in practice settings by assuming responsibility for self-development in lifelong learning. Provides direction and guidance for others regarding practice; serves as a resource, preceptor, and mentor. Demonstrates leadership skills in decision making and problem solving.
