Part-Time Compliance Manager

My client is leading the field in sustainable investment opportunities. They have a global presence, but require support of a part-time Compliance Manager in their London based office.

Description

Working closely with the senior leadership team within Compliance, Risk and Finance, the part-time Compliance Manager will be working on:

• Providing advisory support to the firm
• Regulatory change - assist in the analysis and strategic review of new regulation
• Providing second line of defence services to the business.
• Oversight and testing of the compliance programme
• Undertaking outside business interests / personal investment / gifts and entertainment reviews
• Counterparty onboarding / responding to inbound KYC queries
• Maintaining manuals, policies, procedures, risk assessments
• Undertake monitoring duties
• Assist in the design and delivery of compliance training and in producing compliance notifications in relation to relevant topics

Profile

The successful candidate for the part-time Compliance Manager will have:

• Expertise with key pieces of regulation, and with the FCA Handbook from working with a Financial Services firm (Ideally an alternative asset management firm)
• Commercially minded with an ability to actively engage within the business.
• Organised and able to prioritise workload efficiently.
• Proactive, responsive and efficient.
• Resourceful and capable of working autonomously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
