Hubbard Galbraith, LLP is a growing boutique consulting firm providing contract finance and accounting services in the Chicagoland area. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional on our team to provide bookkeeping expertise to our clients.
Core Job Accountabilities
Provide core accounting and bookkeeping support to clients
Record all financial transactions, including payments and cash receipts, accurately and completely.
Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports
Process client payroll and record related payroll transactions in the general ledger.
Perform bank reconciliations, and other tasks
Completes tasks in a timely and efficient manner to meet month-end close deadlines
Reconciles G/L accounts year end close
May assist with preparing monthly financial reports
Other duties, as assigned
Job Qualifications
BS or Associates degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years prior accounting /bookkeeping experience
Proficient with MS Office/ Office 365 Suite
Proficient in QuickBooks Online and /or similar accounting ledger packages
Designation as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor highly preferred
Experience with Bill.com and Expensify is a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Strong time management skills
Holds self-accountable for deliverables
Ability to work independently and with a team
Passionate about helping small businesses and not for profits succeed
Internet access and ability to work remotely required
