Jefferson Community and Technical College has openings for Culinary Arts Adjuncts. The primary responsibilities of the position are to teach courses, maintain office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback. Day and evening classes available. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
Associate's Degree (AAS) in Culinary Arts or equivalent, and at least 5 years working in the industry. Candidates who have experience with intersectional, inclusive instruction and with a demonstrated ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching and student engagement are encouraged to identify those experiences in the application materials. Candidates should also have experience and sensitivity working with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to fostering an inclusive work and learning environment in which students from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and personal experiences are welcomed and can thrive.
