Interns within the Strategic Planning and Transformation organization will be part of an accelerated learning experience, to challenge skills learned in the classroom and develop new skills while working on active Lumen work projects. Quality Assurance Engineer interns will have the potential to use automation and agile methodologies to provide functional, regression, sanity and integration testing, defect tracking and resolution; and assistance for User Acceptance Testing.

Job Description:
- Analyze new features to the product based on functional and design specifications, recommending appropriate test strategies.
- Creation of Functional / End to End / Solution Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports utilized by local, remote, external, and offshore testing teams.
- Design and implementation of test automation to independently test product components utilizing Automation tools like Parasoft SOATest, Selenium, UFT, Postman, etc.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Beta teams by assisting with customer escalations and reproduction of issues.
- Use of defect tracking tools to log, manage, resolve, and report on bugs/defects.
- Track & analyze test results and work closely with the developers to isolate and reproduce defects.
- Gather and analyze software quality and performance metrics throughout the software development life cycle. |
