 Adjunct faculty members must be responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. All faculty members must be skilled in oral and written communication and must be able to work cooperatively with other staff members.

| Must be a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse who holds a current, unrestricted license in Virginia or a multistate licensure privilege. Must have two years of nursing patient care experience within the previous five years and at least one year of experience in the provision of long-term care facility services.. |
