This is an adjunct faculty appointment in the Trades Division. The primary teaching assignment is for the BCTC Leestown campus. The position will report to and work directly with the division Assistant Dean. The position requires evening and on occasional weekend classes.

Duties/responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Classroom, online and laboratory instruction related to Construction Technology and introduction to carpentry.
Provides instruction to students in both theory and practice of the various aspects of Construction Technology and related subject areas.
Prepares lesson plans, maintains records, and reports on student attainment and progress.
Willing to participate in Professional Development Activities
Develop and maintain working relationship with local industry(s)
Set example of appropriate dress and professional behaviors for students
Enforce high expectations related to safety, student dress, and professional behaviors including punctuality - respect for leadership – teamwork – written and verbal communication skills.
Maintain order and discipline in the teaching/learning environment
Understand and implement workplace organization (5s) standards
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
Associate Degree and 3-5 years' experience in the teaching discipline or related field
Bachelor's degree in the teaching discipline or related field and three years of work experience in the teaching discipline or related field.
Successful candidate should possess excellent computer and communication/presentation skills in order to develop and deliver online program-related courses, and in-person laboratory experiences.
