Qualified candidates will provide instruction in Communication. Candidates will work collaboratively with students, fellow faculty, and staff to ensure the educational needs of the individual learner are met. This is a temporary, part-time position used to fill vacancies at all SCC locations and online. In addition to submitting an online application, please upload the following in PDF format: cover letter, resume or curriculum vitae, transcripts for all college work, copies of current unexpired certifications/licensures held, and three current letters of recommendation. The successful candidate will work to empower students to be fully engaged in the learning environment promoting growth and educational development to support the operation and success of the general education courses in the division.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Social Work or a Master's degree with 18 graduate credits in Social Work required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience is desired. Previous community college teaching experience is preferred. Experience using Blackboard (or a similar learning management system as a delivery method for classes) is recommended.
