The Business and Technology Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has openings for Adjunct Instructors to teach all levels of Business and Technology programming. Programs include Accounting, Business Administration Systems, Computer & Information Tech, Culinary Arts, Economics, and Communications Art Technology.
The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback. These positions may teach on any of the Jefferson's campuses. Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes. Minimum Salary: $577 per credit hour
Varies by program. Accounting: Masters in subject, or CPA license. Business: MBA or equivalent, or Masters in different area and relevant experience Computer & Information Tech: Bachelors in Computer Science or related, or Bachelors in different area and relevant experience (IT certifications may qualify) Culinary Arts: Associates in Culinary Arts and relevant experience Economics: Masters in Economics or related, or Masters in different area and 18 graduate hours in Economics Communications Arts Tech: Associates in related area, or Associates in different are and relevant experience Candidates who have experience with intersectional, inclusive instruction and with a demonstrated ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching and student engagement are encouraged to identify those experiences in the application materials.
