The department is seeking a highly motivated, highly organized individual to work in a laboratory team environment with a diverse group of personnel.
Pick up, wash, sterilize, and redistribute glassware and plastic ware for research laboratories
Restock supplies from inventory
Prepare glass and plastic laboratory supplies for use by lab staff
Sterilize solutions for individual labs and common solutions
Ensure laboratory space and common areas are maintained in a neat and orderly condition; report to department any conditions requiring maintenance or custodial service
Post lab/departmental seminar flyers and similar announcements
Pick up/drop off correspondence from/to institutional offices as required
Perform other lab maintenance and assistant duties as assigned
High School graduate or equivalency certificate with six months of related experience
B.A. or B.S. degree in Biology, Neuroscience or other appropriate science discipline.
Previous experience working in a research laboratory setting desirable
