Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and implement the laboratory duties associated with a NIMH-funded study on the treatment of cognitive impairment in adults with psychotic disorders. 

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of assessment protocols including the conduct of neurocognitive, clinical and functional assessments with adults with psychotic disorders at behavioral health facilities in the tri state NYC metropolitan area 40%
• Conduct electroencephalogram assessments with research participants at behavioral health facilities; develop and coordinate safety procedures according to COVID-19 regulations for the conduct of such research 30%
• Take responsibility for the clerical administration of the laboratory including maintenance of EEG equipment, computers, testing materials, coordination of billing and contracts with outside vendors 20%
• Oversee maintenance of laboratory records, data entry and management 5%
• Perform and coordinate other related duties necessary to the functioning of the lab as assigned/requested 5%

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year related experience, or equivalent in education, training and experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree

Other Requirements

• Must successfully complete online system training requirements
• Involved with patients and/or research subjects
• Must be able to travel throughout tristate metropolitan NYC area
• Able to lift and carry a 10-12 pound briefcase to and from performance sites
