This position exists within the Department of Medical Informatics and Clinical Epidemiology (DMICE), an academic unit in the School of Medicine within Oregon Health & Science University.
This positionwill provide administrative help for completing the many milestones for the MammoScreen R01. The Senior Research Assistant will:
Chart reviews that will occur during the baseline, launch and maintenance phases for the GIM clinic
Coordinate MammoScreen revisions with the programmer at Mongoose Projects, Inc.
Help with recruiting and conducting the interview sessions (with patients and clinical team members) planned in the first 4 years
Coordinate activities with the medical assistant to insure that training and support are provided to clinics as they launch
Manage the IRB submissions, coordinate all meetings with the Stakeholder Advisory Panel and the Patient Advisory Panel and help plan the dissemination activities
The Senior Research Assistant will train during Year 1 to learn how to run reports to obtain demographics, cancer history and mammography history of eligible patients from Epic charts. Once trained this person will complete these processes in years 2-5.
Bachelor's Degree with major courses in relevant field and1-3 years of experience in clinical, informatics research
Ability to use Epic, run reports in Epic
Experience submitting to the IRB
Masters in informatics or related area
3 years of experience in clinical informatics research
