Washington Episcopal School, founded in 1986, WES, is an independent, co-educational school for approximately 300 students, from Nursery through Grade 8, located in Bethesda, MD. The school’s mission is to inspire academic and personal excellence within a joyful learning environment to develop students who are kind, confident, and prepared.
WES is seeking part-time proctors for classes in numerous grades from kindergarten through eighth grade. Proctors will supervise students when a teacher is out of the class; responsibilities might include substituting when a teacher is absent, monitoring a class while a teacher instructs remotely, or supervising students during lunch and recess periods. Proctors will coordinate with teachers as needed to manage classes and materials.

Strong applicants have at least a high school diploma and prior experience working with children; bachelor’s level course work is a plus.
