ExtensionProgram Assistant II is responsible to the County Extension Director and worksunder the direction of Extension Agents. This position will support county workin implementing educational programs for youth and adult audiences. Assist inproviding guidance and directions to other program educators (agents andprogram assistants) with procedures appropriate to acquiring materials for theprogram, maintaining program records, budget records, travel requestprocedures, and personnel procedures. Duties include:
*Provideleadership for a program of activities that meets the needs of all eligibleclientele regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability,religion or veteran status.
*Plan,execute and evaluate 4 educational programs under the direction of the lead ofExtension Agents and County Director.
*Implement,evaluate, and report program related to organization, leadership, recognition,sponsorship, etc.
*Secureand train volunteer leaders and serve as an educational resource foreducational youth and adult programs within the county.
*Responsibleto the County Extension Director and must keep current on the latest researchinformation in youth development.
*Assureprogram implementation, delivery and evaluation activities are in compliancewith the grant guidance and established policies and procedures for the programand for Extension.
*Allother duties as assigned.
